Doomsday Preppers
Stockpiling your pantry comes to reality TV.
Tonight, at 9pm, the National Geographic Channel air's a new reality series about apocalypticism, which is fear of the end of the world as we know it. (Space junk falling from the sky doesn't cut it). In general, apocalypses can be viewed as good or evil depending on your particular religion or belief system, but the real issue here is simply not what you believe, but how you prepare.
Let's put it this way, the 2-36 count packages of Charmin toilet paper in my basement are not getting me an audition.
Doomsday Preppers follows the most extreme cases. Tonight's episode features a couple of nuts who have enough in store to feed 22 people for 15 years! And, to top it off, they have plenty of guns, bullets and armored vehicles to wage a small war.
"Take my toilet paper and I'll put a cap in yo' ass"
I'm the first to admit that I have a Costco-overstock-issue. I mean, I think we have enough Splenda for 15 years. I'm wondering if this show will inspire new shopping.
What's in your pantry?

What ever you have do not feel bad cause in my home you can not put any more in the fridge. My hubby thinks if he does't buy his yogurt on sale he will be out of luck. Ten for 10 dollars? Use your back to close the door. HELP!

Well I am not on Hoarders yet so I guess this is a good thing. Stockpile? Does that include the package of 30 rolls of paper towels , the huge case of toilet paper and the wrapped package of 20 boxes of kleenex? Ya never know when you are gonna need paper . It's ok cause my favorite thing to stockpile is the laundry soap. I have enought to do everyone's wash ..........wonder if there will be a machine to do it in.
