Bat Wings

It happened overnight.

The mood swings are taking a back seat here.

I am 51 years young, blonde hair, fair skin, blue eyes, of Scandinavian decent. My skin has always been dry and thin, but all of the sudden I've noticed some extreme wrinkling and sagging in my arms (aka crepey-skin). The worst part...I exercise a lot and keep my weight down. So, WTF is going on here?

It's the dreaded Bat Wings.

I feel like I'm entering the FULLY CLOTHED state.

Apparently, my life of moderate sun, no smoking, eating an organic and balanced diet, and keeping physically fit hasn't lived up to its promise. My mother-in-law, who is almost 80 and smoked most of her adult life, is 50 pounds over weight, eats a high sodium/processed food diet and has younger looking skin and less wrinkles on her arms than I do. No such thing as fair.

I'm convinced that it has to be genetics which doesn't leave me much choice other than to own my new bat wings and be the menopausal super hero that I was meant to be.

Tank top and all.

Same here! It sucks. What does Madonna do with her arms that we need to do?
