Mother-Daughter Do Neiman's
Susan Sarandon and her daughter Eva star in Neiman's, The Art of Fashion print campaign.
I caught the 8 page spread in the March edition of Vanity Fair and let me tell you, it's fabulous! It's so good that I'm letting go of my typical on-the-side commentary about "photo-shopping" and just embracing the whole concept.
How can you loathe Mother-Daughter shopping when you have a spread like this? Trust me. No one is whining in these outfits. In fact, after my daughter catches wind of this campaign, I fully expect her to call me up and say "Mommy, we need to go to Neiman's. They have stuff for both of us!"
Ka-ching.
The exquisite photography by Mark Abrahams includes 14 portraits in premier designer fashion, with looks by Burberry Prorsum, Carolina Herrera, Chanel, Donna Karan, Etro, Giorgio Armani, Gucci, J. Mendel, Lanvin, Oscar de la Renta, Prada, Tom Ford, Valentino and Vera Wang.
The Spring 2012 campaign appears in March magazines including the March edition of the Neiman Marcus publication, The Book.
You'll love it all, except for maybe one odd, jeweled schmatta from Prada that had a burning car on the ass, which Susan wears as she stands on a city balcony, eyes closed, breathing in the morning air.
At my age, I try and stay away from artwork on the ass.
