Will a good brisket help my husband's baseball team??
You heard me. I had a hair-brained idea today that if I cooked a cozy, yummy brisket and kugel, that maybe, just maybe, the Phillies could win against the Rockies tonite. I mean it is SO cold tonite in Colorado. The Phillies aren't used to 30 degree weather. Baseball wasn't meant to be played in cold weather, that would be FOOTBALL. So what's a girl to do? Cook the Phillies a nice, warm, meal old school.
Psychologically it seemed like the only thing to do. And guess what??
IT WORKED!! The Phillies pulled it out at the last inning in 30 degree weather.
