I really thought we were done with them.

I never liked them, in fact I always hated them.  Not that I didn't succumb, I did.  In the fashion backwards 70's and 80's when I was a young child. (ahem.)

Now they are back again and I SWEAR this time I refuse to go for it.  Shoulder pads should be left to the football players and not to women's fashion.  No matter who designs them, they just look silly!  And you know a year from now you will never wear it again. This year, they are a bit turned up, as if smiling at you when you walk by.  One smile on each shoulder. Its like walking animation.  My father always hit me on the upper back reminding me to stand up straight and not hunch my shoulders.  Maybe with those babies on I could get away with slouching again..hmmm, on second thought, not such a bad idea!
