The hands down winner in the feel-good shoe category.

Recently I broke my toe and was relegated to wearing flat shoes.  I was happy to be living in LA where I could get away with flip flops in October. As a result of my search for forgiving, comfortable footwear,  I also realized just how much I love my cozy old slippers. They were just the ticket for my healing foot.
 
I had an epiphany about them late last night.  I realize that I wear them every night and every morning. They barely cost anything and I realized that I spend more time in them then I do any other shoes, especially my more expensive designer evening shoes.  My dogs love the slippers, too, as they make great tug of war toys.  I don't care if they get wet or dirty.  I don't care how they smell.  I LOVE them. They make me smile.  They make me feel cozy.  I wish there was a way to wear them out for a fancy dinner.  Imagine if everyone just wore stuff like that all the time?  We would all be WAYYY happier.  We might even smile more.  We might even give it up more.  Okay, maybe not that.   I am thinking of starting a new trend, think it could catch on?

Imagine the red carpet in a great pear of Ugg slippers?  C'mon, you KNOW that everyone of those celeb's teetering on their new very tall platforms would much rather wear slippers.   Think I may be onto something here!!
