Spa Fan Vs. Sports Fan

What a toss up!

Okay. You guessed it. It's world series time at our casa. Husband is a die hard Phillies fan. Kids are fans by osmosis. I am a fan by marriage.

As I was sitting Saturday night at Citizens Bank Park in Philly, in the POURING RAIN, me the California girl, I was trying to figure out how I could convert my husband into becoming a spa fan instead of a sports fan.

I mean wouldn't you rather get soaking wet in a vichy spa room after a good scrub?  Or sweat in a sauna instead of sitting in a stadium in the searing hot sun? Or get pummeled by a masseuse instead of the opposing team?

And can we talk atmosphere? Its a lot more pleasant to be in an aromatic room full of scented candles and quiet music than in a crowd of 50,000 people yelling "get them you motherfuckers"?  It may take decades of undoing to convert my husband the sports fan, but I am going to give it a go. Maybe I should start with a spa robe at tonight's playoff game? At least it will keep him warm!
