Show Me The Oatmeal
It's a known fact that people who eat a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast tend to weigh less than those who don't.
And that's only the beginning of some of the many benefits of this super food. Here's what it does:
Lowers blood cholesterol.
Reduces risk of heart disease.
Provides healthier metabolism.
Stabilizes blood glucose levels.
Maintains healthy weight control.
Normalizes blood pressure.
Oh, and Oatmeal has a lot of soluble fiber content too and that means Academy Award winning poops. I'm all for that.
It is also rich in minerals and antioxidants. Goodbye wrinkles.
Research reveals that oatmeal is a good source of protein and iron. And, it is currently being analyzed to check its role in reducing the risk of cancer. But, here is what sold me.....
The vitamin B content in oatmeal is being highlighted to address the onslaught of serious health problems, such as memory impairment, and cognition deficits.
I have never been a fan of oatmeal. Something about it hits my gag reflex. I have always needed my cereal to have a good crunch and a few fruity marshmallows in it. It's never to late to learn and it is going to be one of my New Years Resolutions for 2010.
Who needs doctors when you can have oatmeal?

You know like the TV show the X Files.........well oatmeal is my P files .........p for poop. Now I don't want to get into anything gross but I'm telling you it works. Better than natural laxatives, better than prunes. Remember when Mom would give you prunes to help? At least once a week I eat instant oatmela mixed with a few craisins and I'm on my way ........within hours I am decorating and being an artist , if you get my drift. Ok that being said ..............trust me , oatmeal is the way to go ;literally
