What Does Mypheme Mean?
We get this question a lot.
Mypheme has its roots in Ancient Greece.
Pheme was the Greek Goddess of Popular Rumor. She had her own temple in Athens. Pheme was always prying. She announced whatever she heard, first to only a few, and then louder until everyone had known. She was a Goddess who could tell it like it is. Archeologists recently uncovered an urn, which revealed some of the important proclamations made by Pheme. In no particular order, they are as follows: “These togas don’t flatter my curves”, “Who died and made Zeus king?”, “Troy is totally testosterone”, “Like, no way on the Vestal Virgin Tour of Duty” and “Dionysus is my homeboy” (he was the God of wine) and others too numerous to name. We have adopted Pheme as our patron saint because we feel that she was one of the first women who believed in the power of SHARING a good story and who embraced the concept of feeling good about yourself.
We threw the "My" in front of it because she lives in the hearts of every one of us.

MyPheme is the creation of two creative, talented minds of which are both women ....go figure *g* I don't see no man writing this kind of stuff as Latifa would say . We women know what is good , what is right and what needs to be said. The two creators just say it with spice. I say go girlfriend ..........MyPhemers unite *s* As long as there is MyPheme , I will always have something to say *s* ........but then I never had trouble with that anyway *s*
