I was positively giddy.
I used to have this experience more frequently when I worked. I enjoy the it so much that I have to keep it a secret for fear of upsetting my family.
An affair? No. Late night snacking? No. Botox? No. A HOTEL ROOM. ALL TO MYSELF!
I had to go out of town for a conference and had one night at a hotel, just 25 minutes from home. No big deal. When I opened the door to the hotel room my heart started racing, I became positively giddy. What's that about? Privacy, independence, quiet seclusion in a bed I don't have to make in the morning.
No one's agenda but my own. Just me and the bathtub. It's not that I don't love traveling with my family, but there is something so nice about going it alone to recharge once in a while.
And you know what? For tonite? Its MINE all MINE!

I can so identify with the silence, the ability to flatuate with no commetns if you want , the ability to watch what YOU want on the Tv and relax ............ Hope you had a good over nighter *s*
I don't have children and i love a good hotel room to myself. no one tugging on the blankets or snoring...
Amen to that.
