KISS (Keep it simple stupid)

Short cuts, you gotta love them!

They come in so handy these days.  As I navigate my way through the land of texting, maneuvering my way around computers, phones, app's, BBM's and the like, I am slowly warming up to all the shortcuts, born out of necessity and technology. I was reluctant to join the ranks but as the world turns more quickly, I too, want things to go faster. I mean ASAP is just so old school.

For me, It started with OMG.  Words I realize I rarely expressed in full length while in conversation before texting. OMG. First I tried it out on my teenage daughter.  Big eye roll but she didn't tell me not to do it.  Then came LOL when someone sent something funny.  Old school now, really.  I guess I am moving into the next phase that would include TTYL (talk to you later), GTG (gotta go)  WTF.
Still pretty tame. I'm starting to get into the next phase like ROFL (rolling on floor laughing) or the flipside IDL (I didn't laugh.)   Sometimes I just can't tell WTF I am writing and I just pick up the phone and do it old school.   I know, I know, TSWC (tell someone who cares)

Get up to speed and check out these shortcuts. Your fingers will love you for them.
