Red Carpet Rules

As much as I hate to admit, there is nothing more thrilling than watching the Oscar Red Carpet Show.
The biggest plus about this no-brain entertainment is that it is one of the only shows where you don't need the volume. It's all about the visuals. REPEAT...all about the visuals.
I would listen to it if some of the interviewers asked questions that I cared about...like,
"How did you get your ass in that dress?"
"Is there a release button when you sit?"
"Where is your back fat?"
"Can you eat in that thing?"
It all comes back to our desire to always TELL IT LIKE IT IS.
The only thing better than this show, (and the Mypheme producers are going to pitch this at our next network meeting), would be watching the celebs get dressed. The glue gun, crow bar and duct tape must be in high gear. It's a missed opportunity for some real quality TV.
We're gonna call it, LIVE, FROM THE CLOSET.
Hmmm...maybe this is why we're working from the internet now?

What I'd like to know is .......do they buy, rent or borrow those dresses ? And will they wear them a 2nd time? I love the pre-show shmoozing ..............pass the popcorn please *s*

I love NY but I have to go north! WABC-TV and Cablevision are having a steel cage match. I heard no oscar broadcast! This sucks!!!!!

In response to Deb...Celebs borrow the dresses and the jewels. Many of the dresses are then donated to raise money for a charity called Clothes Off Our Back.
