Bookworm Addiction

It started as just a game!

Aside from the typo issue complaint on both my ipad and the newly acquired iphone, I have another growing issue and that is the app's.  It's really amazing how much of a time sucker these devices are, especially when it comes to the games.

At first I loaded them for my kids and a few sports things for the husband.  I typically use the restaurant finders, the GPS and informational sites and newspapers.  Then I stumbled upon Bookworm.  A simple word game, great to play when you are waiting somewhere.  I think, however, that it must emit some kind of stimulation to the brain.  Its unbelievably addicting.  It has slowly started to take over my life.  The pasta gets overcooked.  I am late to meetings.  I play it before I go to sleep with the sound off so as not to wake my husband.

My friend has made it to the most unbelievably high score.  I think it took her 2 hours for her to make that score.  Its driving me crazy, I can't even get to half of what her score was. In need this??  Steve Jobs keeps adding more and more apps to his iworld, to my iworld.  Cut it out, Steve.  No more toys!! If you keep this up my kids will never eat again!
