Fashion Week on the Upper West Side can be wrapped up in one memorable sentence:
I SEE SKINNY PEOPLE.

This week, sitting outside at Cafe Fiorella, which is smack dab in front of the Lincoln Center, I got an eyeful. In case you didn't hear, this is the first season of the famous runway shows uptown. It was pretty inspired to choose this cherished, NYC cultural performing arts enclave as the new site, but I have to say, it cramped my outdoor eating style.

I have never seen such a parade of SKINNY women in my life. I mean REAL skinny women who wear the couture clothes that come down the runway. If photos put on ten pounds and these gals look skinny in the pictures, you can only imagine what they look like in person.

Yikes. I was feeling like I should order the Vegetarian salad, but something inside of me said order the imported truffle pizza...after all, it has that famous THIN crust.

Sometimes thin is good.
