It made me spit out my lunch when I heard the question.

After growing up with a father who is a die hard sports fan of a certain team
my daughter asked this question of him today.  " If I were to marry a guy who was a fan of another team, which team would you object to the most?, Which team would make it impossible for you to endorse this person as a mate?"

Lets analyze that for a second.  It will be hard enough for her to find the right mate for herself let alone what we hope for her. The criteria, be it religious, moral, political, or just plain genial is just a drop in the bucket.  Tattoos? Too old? No problem. Not a college grad? Can live with that. The least bad sports team?  I can barely wrap myself around that one.  The sad part was that he had an answer for her.  Poor girl, its just one more thing to look out for in a mate.  I can only hope that maybe the guy is into alternative sports like beer pong or badmitten. Either that or he's gonna have to "convert" to the proper team.  Imagine that ceremony!
