Asses on Glasses
Seventh time's a charm.
If any of you have children with glasses, then you know that frames and prescriptions can get kind of pricey. Of course you want your kids to feel good about themselves so if you're like me, you'll spend the extra dollars so that they will look cool. When I was younger, the "geek" look was by far the cheapest but now that style will burn a whole in your wallet. How that became the most expensive look is a mystery but it sure has me wishing that I could recreate my baby blue cat eye glasses from the 5th grade.
One of my kids is a serial eye glass destroyer. Basketball has eaten way too many pairs. We tried the prescription sport goggles but my son complained of bad peripheral vision so we went back to regular glasses.
We even gave an effort at contacts but he didn't like the feeling of something in his eye so we've come to expect some eye glass casualties while playing sports. What I didn't expect was an eye glass casualty at a weekend teenage party.
What happened?
"Someone sat on them" he said.
I won't even ask why they were off his face. Ka-ching, ka-ching.

Been there done that is all I can say . Then we went to contacts and let me tell you they were no fun either . From a rip in the lens to eye infections but now that they are older ......... hey they are on their own ...they sit on 'em , the replace them , they need contacts .....I say here's the 1-800 number
