Eclipse Attire 2010
It felt like my mother dressed me for a snow storm.
East coast winter eclipse viewing required some serious cold weather gear. 20 to 30 mph winds, combined with 20 degree temperatures...it felt like 5 degrees.
Needless to say, no one showed up to my front yard viewing party although my husband did make a brief appearance to take a photograph after I begged him to do so.
"You are out of your mind" he said, and was back in the house before I could blink an eye. I took a two minute peak then realized that I could probably see it from my second story bedroom window. The eclipse was cool to see, but the photo of me all bundled up will provide a better memory.

Good girl. No frost bite. Now put on your snuggies and go back to bed. Love you.

Did the lunar eclipse look lopsided to you? Because I am noticing that you only had one eye uncovered by wool. Just curious.
I was hosting a sleepover birthday party for 10 ten year old girls and a few of them said they wanted to go outside at 11:41 to watch the eclipse, "for a science project." To which I said, "Enough of the learning, it's winter break, go to bed!" Because I'm supportive like that.

Too cloudy here to see it but your photo reminds me of when we used to sled ride down the big hill in the backyard and that is entertainment enough *g*
