My freshman son has been doing some marketing for us.

I am always telling my kids to "tell your friends to tell their mothers about Mypheme" because word of mouth is what fuels sites like ours. But truthfully, I've often felt that my pleas to them fall on deaf ears because that's the last thing they want to talk to their friends about. Parental business is boring in the college arena unless some bragging rights are involved.

So last week, when my son was sitting around with some of his pals comparing notes on crazy-ass parents, he whipped out his laptop and said, "If you think your Mom is crazy, check out mine" and proceeded to show them the MySpanx Movie which was the premiere video that launched our site.

My jaw dropped. "You're kidding, right?" I said.

"They LOVED it." he bragged. "We watched it several times and then I emailed everyone the link. OMG, Mom...they were laughing so hard and they agreed that you are the craziest mother ever."

"How will I ever be able to set foot in your dorm again?" I cried.

"You mean campus, Mom." he said with a big grin.

It's all about the numbers, right?
