I absolutely love them!

So far this season, the Prom Photos on Facebook have been spectacular. If you are lucky enough to have friends that post them, then you too will share in the "Big Smile" when you see all of these beautiful young men and women dressed to perfection. 

What I wouldn't give to have a snapshot from my Prom. That photo would have produced a big smile too! I wore a purple-flowered palazzo pants gown. No shit. I was on a mission to find a comfortable dress and mistakenly picked the flow-y pants number. If my memory serves me right, it looked like a clown jump suit. I completed the look with some wicked looking platform shoes which I so wished I saved as they would probably fetch a lot of mula on ebay today. Don't even think I had my waist long hair done, but I'm pretty sure that I brushed it. Since I went to an all-girls school, finding a date was problematic and I remember getting a reluctant last minute one so that I could go and be with all of my friends. He was goofy, but solid...and the kind that really enjoyed the rubber chicken dinner.

Looking back, the only lesson that I can grab from this is PHOTOGRAPH EVERYTHING because 30 some years from now, you'll really want to have it.
