God Save My Shoes
Love the title, can't wait to see the film.
It's like...it's like...porn for women. A new documentary is coming this fall from filmmaker Julie Benasra which celebrates the love that many of us share about our shoes.
And LOVE it is. I like they way that they make you feel all-mighty. And how about that major foot rush you get when you slip on a fabulous pair? Shoes scream attitude from the ground up.
If I wasn't such a klutz, I'd wear heels 24/7. (Could really use the added height poolside, but I'm still on the fence as to whether or not they go with the Speedo.)

Finally a film about my first love. I love shoes and although , now retired I don't dress my feet up much anymore I still love shoes. Hooked on Nine West, Jimmy Choo .....doesn't matter . When I see a good shoe I have to have it;although these days I am really behaving myself and sticking with my original 75 or so. Shoes........one of my many weaknesses. And like you Susan , can't do heels anymore (high ones anyway) broke my foot one too many times!
