Dress Jerky
Sometimes Moth Balls just don't do the trick.
I'm sure that you're all relieved to know that famous raw meat dress which Lady Gaga wore at the September 2010 MTV Video Music Awards has been "Slim Jimmed" by American Taxidermy in Burbank, California.
Thank goodness because it would have been such a waste to throw it out. It's hard to get a second (or third) life out of formal wear anyway and if you add the decomposing nature of that raw number, it made it absolutely impossible to hit the consignment stores the next day. Very bad shelf life. No surprise that the dress was frozen immediately after the show but the big question remained:
What do you do with it?
For our Pittsburgh viewers, there was chatter about chipping it, putting it on a bun and serving it up at one of the many tailgate parties. (Layer of french fries included).
Someone had the brilliant idea of preserving it and after walking through the Alexander McQueen show at the Met last week, I now know why.
The Costume Institute will probably go Ga-Ga for her plethora of outfits. Met worthy? Not sure. But certainly an installation at the Universal Theme Parks.
P.S. I want a ride in the Egg.

I think you could carve it into many servings of carpaccio, maybe a Gaga food truck? Hilarious!

Think of the homeless they could feed with that thing. And then people could go around saying they just ate a piece of GaGa *g*
