Mick Jagger and Dave Stewart have a new band that will rock your world.

Superheavy, brainchild of Dave Stewart and Mick Jagger, will drop this month and you don't want to miss this amazing musical experience.  Along with Mick and Dave, the new band features Joss Stone, Damien Marley and the insanely talented A.R. Rahman Indian composer of Slumdog Millionaire fame. I heard the new single called Miracle Worker from the album (do they call it an album still?) and was blown away by the music.

The music is an incredible fusion of rock, soul and reggae and somehow all together it just works. Pretty cool how it all came together as reported in Rolling Stone.  It sounds like a free flow brain/music storming and the collective sound that emerged is so organic and lovely.  I hope they decide to tour, it would be amazing to hear live.  Also check out the artwork for the band.  They worked with Shepard Fairey, the graphic artist who did the iconic Obama poster.  Very cool stuff.
