Work Out, The Back.
Time and time and time again, I do this to myself.
Someone should just invent a workout and call it like it is. The Aching Back Workout. Why not just say it? Even if you are not older and in great shape, you can still do the workout and hurt your back. Over and over again I pull something and yet I keep going back for more. What is that about? I love the buzz, the camaraderie, the illusion that I can actually make my body look like I haven't had too much to eat for so long. I like the illusion that I still "have" it. It's just that my back doesn't have "it" anymore.
Maybe I should create a class that would just skip all the cardio and weights and go straight for the ice packs, the Advil and the stretching straps. Maybe the whole class could be on a foam roller? Or maybe that's called a bar?
