Museum Of Bad Art
Mana Lisa by A. Schmidt...for real!
Founded in 1993, The Museum Of Bad Art (MOBA) is a community-based, private institution dedicated to the collection, preservation, exhibition and celebration of bad art in all its forms and in all its glory.
"The pieces in the MOBA collection range from the work of talented artists that have gone awry to works of exuberant, although crude, execution by artists barely in control of the brush. What they all have in common is a special quality that sets them apart in one way or another from the merely incompetent. "
Although located in the Boston area, the collection is thankfully available for viewing on line. Seriously...bringing really bad art to a global audience...why didn't WE think of that?
