TMI Ticker
I'm not a fan of the new, real-time Facebook Ticker.
For those of you not on Facebook, a new feature was introduced last week that appears on the right side of your computer screen and announces, in real time, every single bit of activity that your friends, and friends of friends are doing.
Who are these people and how did they get on my screen?
In the Mypheme spirit of telling it like it is, Facebook should have called this feature TMI (too much information).
It's distracting, it's annoying and it's the worst case of computer screen clutter that I've ever seen. Did I forget to mention that's it's also a major privacy invasion, too? The only good thing about it is that it's keeping me from hanging on Facebook too long which I have to admit, was a problem.
Someone told me that I need to change my privacy settings to "Friends" only and disable the "Friends of friends" setting to avoid the whole world seeing that I ate 6 crispy creams for my birthday.
So, where is that button?
