Brokeberry Mountain

My broken blackberry was only the tip of the appliance iceberg.

I'm not a sensationalist, but there is some weird sci-fi buffet going on at my house this week.

Everyday has featured some broke du jour. Monday was my large screen TV. The color wheel popped and made a deafening noise that sounded like a jet landing in my family room. Little did I know that it signaled the arrival of the appliance aliens because on Tuesday my coveted front loader washer suddenly blew out its ball bearings. That was a noise that almost warranted a 911 call. Wednesday brought the complete disruption of the blackberry service (if that didn't push your ah-oh I'm really psychotic buttons then nothing will) followed by Thursday, when the electric garage door opener would only go up and not down. This morning my sump pump started making some weird vibrating sounds.

The romance is over.

WTF, I need more than a repairman...I need an appliance-alien exorcist.

.......and my bathroom drain plug has a nice size rusted hole in it . When I asked husband, so when does this get fixed ? His reply was ....soon but don't fill the tub that high or the water will go through the hole to the basement . Now that's concern !

Good news. I fixed my own garage door opener. The technician talked me through it on the phone! It was a service yourself service call.
