Facial Buzz
Personal appliances move upstairs.
While having my twice yearly dosage of Botox to treat my "facial migraines" (wrinkles give me terrible headaches), my doctor suggested that I try an electric facial to stimulate my Botoxed-out muscles.
WTF is an electric facial?
It's a machine that emits tiny micro currents into your facial muscles, prompting them to contract. It allegedly induces a tightening effect that plumps up the muscles, makes you look lifted and smoothes out the remaining wrinkles.
I'm so confused. Why use Botox at all if you can shock the shit out of you face and get the same results?
Because Botox immobilizes your muscles by blocking the nerves and that causes your muscles to lie flat and make the wrinkles disappear. As you age, you can get that concave look because your muscle is unable to tone itself. The electric stimulation works on those muscles to help "keep them buff".
Sounds like a facial vibrator to me.
Always looking to save money, I had to ask, "Do you think my pocket queen would work on my face?"
My doctor confirmed that something like that would be a real money maker.
Hail to the old dog, new tricks motto.
