Another really cool thing to do when you have time on your hands.

Pummelvision is another great time-waster app that creates music videos out of all of your on-line photos. Created by Vimeo co-founder Jake Lodwick, the service literally flashes your life before your eyes by pulling all of your photos from Flickr, Facebook and Tumblr and exporting them to either Vimeo or YouTube.

As reported by TechCrunch, Lodwick was inspired by a mushroom trip: " I retired from blogging on Tumblr and sean their back up tool.  A few days later it  occurred to me that I had every image I every posted sitting on my computer, and it would be interesting to see them as a video.  I went to Final Cut Pro and produced ">this.  I found it so entertaining, I thought I should make a tool that does this for everyone."

This was reported last December and since then he has been working on tools to be able to control the speed and music.  Given how people store and use images on all kinds of platforms, this is really a fun thing to be able to do. Thinking seriously of using this for my kids Bar Mitzvah video,  now able to move at the speed of sound which will be a relief and definitely a crowd pleaser.  Check it out, what a cool tool!
